Biscotti or Biscuits perfect with a cup of tea, as snack in the afternoon or as a sweet breakfast. I like them at any time of the day, the only problem I end up eating far too many.
No needs for a curriculum as a Chef to make a butch of nice biscuits.
300 gr of Flour
150 gr Butter
120 gr sugar
3 eggs yolks
3 tbs of cocoa powder
Put in a large bowl the flour and the sugar and in the middle put the eggs yolks. Add the butter, and mix all together until obtaining a nice and soft dough. Cut in two halves and add in one the two spoons of cocoa powder; work the dough through until brown.
From the two halves makes 4 different rolls (2 white and 2 black). Wrap them up in cling film and let them rest for 30 mins in the fridge.
Cut the big roll in 1cm pieces, put the biscuits in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 mins.
